  12. Control Panel 5 is a much improved version of Control Panel 4, which is a GUI
  13. frontend for AmiTCP, and associated programs.

  20. Automatically run programs at a set time

  22. Run the following types of programs -

  24. Mail, News, FTP, WWW, Gopher, IRC, Archie, Telnet, Finger, Ping, Traceroute, UUXT, Dearchivers and
  25. newsgroup editor.

  27. These programs can be started by just clicking on a button, using the menus or using the hotkeys.
  28. For any program which has not got a gui interface and needs user input i.e. Ping, Traceroute,
  29. Finger and Telnet,  I have included a GUI front end for these programs.

  31. Their is also a total of 3 user defineable buttons and many other user defineable menus choices, as well
  32. as menus for changing to pre-defined users and also for using multiple POP's.

  34. A status window, shows various details such as user name, real name, date, time, and how long
  35. connected . A log file is created recording details of every connection.
  36. This logfile is now in Ncomm format so that Phonebill analysers can be used.

  38. The following programs are designed to enhance the features of Control Panel
  39. 5, and are both available from the same source as this file.
